Width Limitations For Vent Covers
Our grilles are made of high-quality, extruded aluminum.
While we are able to make almost any size of custom grille, we do have some limitations for floor and wall applications for product stability and safety reasons.
Width Limitations For Floor Vent Covers
For floor grilles: We limit our floor grilles to 72 inches long for one single piece and 8 inches wide to maintain stability in the construction of the product.
Notes:
- We can make Floor vent covers over 72 inches but they will be spliced into equal lengths (depending on total length) with unmitered ends - creating a continuous appearance, connected by steel splice plates.
- Two splice plates are required per joint.
- Floor vent cover measurements listed refers to the hole opening of the duct.
- Stack dimensions have a 1/4 inch clearance and a depth of 1 inch recessing into the hole opening.

Width Limitations For Ceiling Vent Covers
Ceiling and sidewall application (which require mounting holes and screws to secure the grilles to the wall or ceiling) can be built up to 72 inches long (in one continuous piece) and up to 18 inches wide.
We can manufacture over 72 inches length. But would require splicing the grilles together (as per the notes section below).
Notes:
- Ceiling vent covers over 72 inches will be divided into equal lengths with mitered corner ends creating a continuous appearance, connected by steel splice plates.
- Two splice plates are required per joint.
Countersunk screw holes are predrilled into the frame of the vent cover and matching finish, flush mount screws are provided with each order.
