Slide Damper Installation Instructions
Step One
Place your kul grilles’ vent cover face down on a flat surface.
Step Two
Insert the tabs under the stack of the vent cover on one end, and press the damper down on the opposite side until you hear a click.
Step Three
The sliding operator is conveniently positioned on the face of the grille and has been designed to seamlessly blend in with the core bars.

Grilles are custom manufactured together with the dampers, as the grilles are undersized ¼” to ensure a proper fit. Lead times & custom setup fees will apply.
Damper Open
Dampers are raw steel regardless of grille finish.
Face of grille
They can be adjusted from the front with a very small flat head screwdriver but are best adjusted from behind the face of the grille. They require at least 3” of clearance behind the grille.
We do not ship our standard vent covers with dampers. (Maximum airflow is important, so we only provide dampers on request for rooms where airflow control is required).
